Our Verdict

Rab’s Sil Poncho is an ultralight and versatile poncho. If you’re needing to keep your kit and weight to a minimum, this little poncho will be a huge lifesaver. It packs down smaller than a Nalgene bottle and weighs a lot less than carrying an individual poncho, tarp and pack cover!

• Multipurpose poncho can be used as a tarp, bivy, pack or sleeping bag cover
• Ultralight silicone impregnated 30D ripstop nylon is water proof and incredibly strong
• Shock cord at bottom edge allows the poncho to be snugged around bottom of pack for security in wind
• Edges are fitted with webbing loops and snap closures to permit multiple set up options
• Silcoat stuff sack included
