Our Verdict

At just 52 g, the Sunday Afternoons Aero Visor is as minimal as headwear gets without sacrificing performance. The wide foldable brim gives decent face coverage, and the clever Clamshell design means it folds flat to stash in a hipbelt or pocket. The moisture-wicking sweatband did a good job of keeping sweat out of my eyes. The UPF 50+ rating adds peace of mind for long hours in exposed terrain.
