The Merino Blend 125 Cool-Lite™ Sprite Hipster are hip-covering underwear with a stretchy slim fit for total all-day comfort. These comfy underwear feature icebreaker’s jersey Cool-Lite™ fabric, which blends TENCEL™ Lyocell and merino wool to naturally keep you cool and odour-free when you’re on the move. Merrowed seams with a flat finish help eliminate friction during dynamic days on the go.

Soft merino wool and TENCEL™ Lyocell, a sustainable plastic-free lyocell, combine to create icebreaker Cool-Lite™, a lightweight, breathable and quick drying fabric. Inspired by nature, icebreaker harnesses the performance qualities of natural fibres to offer an alternative to clothing based on petrochemical synthetics.

Our Verdict

The Merino 125 Cool-Lite Sprite Hipster uses a silky blend of merino and Tencel to create a close-fitting pair of briefs that feel gentle on skin, wick well, and stay comfortable under a pack. I found the slim cut and flat seams effective at minimising friction, and they held up well during long days. The light fabric dries fast and resists odour impressively, which makes them ideal for travel or layering on back-to-back days. The only note is that support is light—great for low-profile comfort, but maybe less so if you prefer more structure.
