Our Verdict

Nemo’s Sweepstakes are an innovative peg that are designed to make them more practical. The Y shaped peg is a great design for providing a good hold in softer ground so the addition of the plastic slider works well as it removes any dirt stuck in the grooves so you can pack away cleanly. The slider is also glow in the dark which makes a huge difference when moving around the tent at night.

This is a really innovative design that has won awards but some people will see this as gimmicky rather than and upgrade on a classic Y-peg design. There is a weight penalty with the sliders but it will be worth it for some how value the advantages of this design over the weight.
