In a toast to readiness, we took our classic Officer’s knife and gave it a little wine lover’s twist – literally. With its corkscrew always ready to go, the Waiter pocket knife will never leave you high and dry. Red, white, sparkling – wine always tastes better when you’re well prepared.

Our Verdict

We stock the waiter because its the lightest Victorinox tool with a large blade – so if the blade is the main reason for carrying a penknife then this could be the one for you. Tweezers and toothpick are really useful whilst trekking – the desirability of the bottle opener and corkscrew will depend on your drinking habits – ours are ‘yes please!’
