Our Verdict

Trekmates Matterhorn Gore-Tex Gloves are a tough gauntlet type glove designed for serious winter missions. The extra length of this gloves gives you extra protection and helps with layering. Gore-Tex technology means you can rely on the Matterhorn glove being completely weatherproof.

The gloves have a warm fleece lining lining and 2 areas of adjustment to trap heat and and prevents the elements getting in. There is a large easy to use strap around the wrist and draw cord adjustment at the cuffs to ensure a close fit with around your jacket.

Wrist loops means you can take your gloves off to perform a fiddly task and not have to worry about losing them. These are easily removed if you don’t want this feature. A loop on the fingers mean you can hang the gloves on your harness or in the drying room with the fingers up so water can’t fall into the glove. The thumb and forefinger are touchscreen compatible.
