Sheets that fit your sleeping mat are particularly useful if you are using a quilt instead of a sleeping bag, and there’s nothing better than using a quilt in summer.

They also protect your sleeping pad from collecting dirt and body oils, reducing the need for cleaning and extending the life of your pad. Perimeter loops make them ideal for mating with Therm-a-Rest® quilts and blankets when you’re sleeping directly on your pad. Sewn from a soft, 100% recycled brushed polyester, Synergy Luxe Sheets are machine washable for hassle-free care, and available in a range of sizes. They fit both rectangular and tapered pads and the Coupler size joins two pads together for adventure duos.

Our Verdict

Sheets that fit over your sleeping mat like Therm-a-Rest’s Synergy Luxe Sheet are brilliant if you are using a quilt as your sleep system, it means you don’t have skin contact with your mat which can be a clammy experience. There is a weight penalty of course but as well as being comfortable to the touch a sheet also adds some warmth to the mat and keeps it clean.

This is the Luxe version of Thermarest sheets and as such is really soft to the touch but quite a bit heavier than a standard sheet, but if you are car camping or not carrying it very far it’s a nice luxury.

We especially like the loops to mate the sheet with your Thermarest quilt, stops it moving around to much in the night.
