If you’re after a bit of luxury for your next camping trip this pillow definitely hits the mark. The soft, quilted outer is removable and washable while the inner air bladder gives you all the cushioning you’d want for a great nights sleep.

Our Verdict

Klymit’s Luxe Pillow is at the heavier end of the scale but in my opinion it’s certainly worth it for the level of comfort. It is ideal for basecamp but it is still light enough to carry when you want a really comfortable pillow to sleep on. The simple twist lock valve allows you to adjust the amount of air in it to suit you. Although the majority of the weight is from the outer, quilted cover, it is this part that adds the comfort and feeling of luxury rather than survival you often get from inflatable pillows. This outer can easily be removed and washed to keep it clean and fresh too. If needed, you can use the inner bladder alone when weight saving is the priority.
