Our Verdict

This is a well-thought-out piece of gear. The lighting modes are easy to control, and the low-lumen inspection setting is helpful for close work without dazzling your vision. The 2000-lumen boost is properly bright, and the strobe, while niche, is a welcome addition for solo walkers on the trail or road. I found the Quick Release headband intuitive, and the magnetic base works well, especially around base camp.
