Our Verdict

Superb piece of kit this from SOTO – especially as a disposable lighter is available just about everywhere. Without the lighter it weighs 50g which you may think is a luxury weight – however I’ve wasted loads of meths in the past struggling to get my burner lit especially when only half full – I suspect with this I’ll save the weight in fuel.

It turns out that it doesn’t work with every lighter as there is a size variation across the world, however I can report I’ve taken one on trips in the UK, France and Chile and each time managed to get a lighter that fits without a problem.
