Our Verdict

At just 26g, this updated stabiliser does exactly what it’s meant to: keeps your stove system upright when the ground isn’t playing nice. It’s compatible with 100g, 230g, and 450g canisters, and it folds down neatly to snap onto the base of the burner, which is a nice improvement over the older version. I’ve used it on lumpy soil, gravel, and uneven rock—it makes a noticeable difference, especially with taller systems like the Flash or SUMO.

You don’t really notice it until it’s not there, which says a lot. The legs feel secure and well-made, and the connection to the burner during transport stops it from rattling around in your cook set.
