A small sharp titanium knife that holds an edge incredibly well.

Vargo says: 

The same signature blade material as featured in all Sobata series knives, but in a different style. The Sobata-815 features a modified version of the super-versatile, tried and true drop point blade. Similar to the 799, the 815 features a tan textured G10 handle for secure grip and feel. The Sobata series knives make for great additions to your backpacking gear list, fishing tackle, or EDC setup.

Our Verdict

Hats off to Vargo for this lightweight and durable knife. I’m not an avid knife collector, but I have owned some in my time, and this is undoubtedly the blade that holds its edge the best; the titanium is incredibly light and sharp, a perfect blade for backcountry activity.

It sits comfortably in hand, is easy to open and close, and has a nice clip to store on a belt.
