Optimus’s Terra Kettle is a classic piece of camping equipment but lightweight and super durable. If all you’re doing is boiling water then a kettle is an effective way of doing it. The neat spout makes it easy to pour water in your boil-in-the-bag meal or cup of noodles.

Our Verdict

If the worst you are going to do is make a cup of tea or brew up some water to pour into a freeze dried meal then you could do worse than this Optimus kettle. Its fit for purpose and heats water quickly with its wide dimensions.
