Our Verdict

At just 46g, the Petzl Rocha Screw-lock Carabiner is impressive for its weight. The compact pear-shaped design makes it surprisingly adaptable—ideal for belay setups, building quick anchors, or securing crucial kit. The screw-lock mechanism is smooth, with a clear visual indicator that adds a layer of reassurance. The keylock nose handles well and avoids snags when racking or unclipping. It’s also glove-friendly, though climbers used to larger HMS carabiners may find the size a little snug.
