Trekmates’ Explorer Compass has a good sized baseplate with a range of map scales to enable you to measure distance accurately. The Explorer has all the usual features you’d expect on a good compass; magnifier, luminous markings for navigating at night, orienteering points and a simple, lightweight cord to attach it to your pack.
