Our Verdict

The Cocoon Compression Bag Ultralight is simple, smooth to compress, and holds its shape well inside a pack. The 30D nylon fabric feels slick but durable enough for internal use, and the water-repellent finish has coped fine with damp pack corners. Compression is handled via a straightforward strap system—two ladderlocks and two side-release buckles—making it quick to cinch down and easy to undo without faff.

If you’re trying to get the most out of limited pack space and want to keep things light and streamlined, it’s a solid option.
