The Thermo Pocket is a handy piece of kit that helps with making and eating your food pouches. The insulated pouch keeps heat in which helps re-hydrate/cook the food more efficiently. 

For lighting stoves instead of carrying matches we think the Mini Firesteel is a winner – at 14g it is as light as a box of matches or lighter anyway and unlike them, will produce a spark in any weather.

Generates hot sparks for lighting fires and stoves. Ferrocium provides the sparks – a man made mix of 20 different metals fused together into a rod. Ferro rods consist of 20% iron with small amounts of zinc magnesium cerium lanthanum neodymium plus small amounts of other rare earth elements.

Reach to the bottom of the bag with this ultra-lightweight long-handled spoon. The flat end gives the the best chance of scraping out the last of those calories.
