This women’s bag has a shorter length and female specific shape to improve efficiency. Offering refuge to those exploring the world’s highest peaks and the polar regions, the Andes Infinium is packed with cutting edge tech, built to keep you warm.

The Andes Infinium 800 is filled with 800g of ultra-high lofting 800FP, goose down. It is constructed using trapezoid shaped boxwall baffles, which stack together reducing cold spots and maximise the lofting and efficiency of the down inside. Reflecting heat towards the body, our TILT technology is seen as a silver sheen on this inside of the bag. Reducing heat loss by up to 32%, TILT substantially improves thermal insulation without compromising pack size, breathability, or weight.

It has a mummy fit and offers a similar level of warmth to our Expedition range of sleeping bags, but in a lower bulk package. The women’s specific cut is fractionally shorter than the regular bag with a narrower shoulder and marginally wider hip space, for comfort and efficiency. The GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® outer provides a robust, windproof shield against icy chills, and the face baffle and 3D neck collar cinch in snug around the face to seal in the heat. The ¾ length YKK® zip has its own internal baffle to avoid heat escaping and an angled foot box allows for a comfortable sleeping position.

Hand-filled in the UK, all our down bags benefit from never having had their down compressed before use, maintaining the down’s loft and warmth.

Rab’s Womens Andes Infinium 800 Down Sleeping Bag fits in the Andes series which are Expedition class sleeping bags filled with premium 800 Fill Power down contained in a trapezoidal boxwall baffle construction with a differential cut to eliminate cold spots.

The Andes bags also use TILT technology which inserts a breathable but reflective layer inside the bag to reflect heat to the inside thus boosting the bags performance. The shell fabric is windproof Gore Infinium further improving its ability to keep you warm.

Built with a Mummy shape these are designed to be efficient but still retain space for additional clothing or equipment to come inside the bag with you. Although some people may not like a close fitting bag they are more efficient, reducing heat loss due to air movement inside the bag and on expedition you may be glad of that.

The rest of the bag is up to Rab’s high standard with features and construction to a very high standard.
