The Rab Torque Pants have been a staple for climbers and hikers seeking a balance of durability and flexibility. The 2025 iteration continues this tradition, offering a refined fit and enhanced features.

Constructed from Rab’s Matrix double-weave fabric, these trousers provide a commendable blend of toughness and stretch. The reinforced panels on the knees and inner ankles are particularly beneficial during scrambles and climbs, offering added protection against abrasions. Weighing approximately 372 grams for a medium size, they remain lightweight without compromising resilience.

The slim-fit design ensures minimal excess material, reducing the risk of snags and enhancing mobility. Articulated knees and a gusseted crotch further facilitate unrestricted movement. However, it’s worth noting that the waistband, while partially elasticated, lacks belt loops.

The Torque Pants feature two mesh-lined hand pockets and a zipped rear pocket, which aid ventilation. The zippered hem gusset allows for easy adjustment over various footwear.
