Supportive and breathable, the Talus 2 in 1 Shorts are built for moving fast and light across rough ground.

Our Verdict

At 167g (medium), these are some of the more structured running shorts I’ve worn, but they never feel restrictive. The outer fabric is lightweight and dries fast, while the inner liner shorts offer just the right amount of compression and stay put thanks to a silicone grip at the hem. I found the waistband comfortable over long distances, with a snug fit that doesn’t shift.

These shine in storage: the liner has two thigh stash pockets and a rear yolk pocket with a secure closure. The 7-inch length offers a nice bit of extra coverage, especially when moving over scree or rough ground, and the bonded side split keeps the range of movement unrestricted.
