Our Verdict

The Muon 40 backpack from Rab is a pinnacle of innovation. Constructed from Spectra® Ripstop, a fabric renowned for its exceptional durability and lightweight nature, it embodies the fusion of cutting-edge materials and thoughtful design.

Spectra® Ripstop Technology integrates a robust grid of polyethene fibers within a 210 Cordura nylon structure, yielding a material that is incredibly strong and remarkably lightweight. Moreover, with 85% of its content derived from recycled materials, the Muon 40 is committed to sustainability without compromising performance.

The TRI-FLEX™ carry system, featuring a shaped lumbar pad, wrap-around harness, and supportive hip belt, represents a pinnacle of ergonomic engineering. It is designed to sit snugly against the wearer’s back and facilitates unhindered movement and stability even under heavy loads, ensuring comfort during extended treks.
