Our Verdict

The Rab Modulus Tights are a solid choice for outdoor adventurers needing a flexible, lightweight baselayer to tackle cooler conditions. With Rab’s Thermic Stretch Pro fleece (230gsm), these tights offer a warm, quick-drying layer that excels at wicking moisture and retaining warmth without adding bulk. At just 188 grams (medium), they provide an efficient insulation boost under outer layers, making them ideal for high-energy activities like winter hikes, alpine climbs and winter wild camps. 

Designed for comfort and ease of movement, the Modulus Tights feature a high-stretch Flexile 200 waistband, flatlocked seams, and a next-to-skin fit that prevents chafing and keeps the fabric snugly in place. While not as warm as heavier tights, they serve well as part of a layering system, adding enough warmth for most cold-weather pursuits.
