Our Verdict

At 367g in Medium, these strike a nice balance between durability and packability. The cotton-spandex blended fabric feels natural but dries quickly after a rinse or a sweaty day. The fit is relaxed without being too baggy, and the waistband — a combination of webbing belt, drawcord, and button — stays put whether walking, scrambling or lounging. The four pockets are well thought out, with the rear zip pocket giving just enough security for valuables.
