Soft, comfortable, next-to-skin blended fabrics, that do a fantastic job of wicking moisture. It dries fast, whilst naturally regulating your temperature, and keeps you smelling fresh.

Patagonia says: 

A breathable merino technical top, designed to naturally regulate your temperature, control odor and keep you comfortable when you’re working hard in the widest range of conditions. Made from a blend of 65% RWS-certified merino wool and 35% recycled polyester. All of the virgin wool Patagonia sources is certified to the Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) from farm to fiber to help ensure protection both for the animals that supply it and the land they graze. Fair Trade Certified™ sewn.

Our Verdict

A perfect base layer for hardworking days on the trail. The Merino-polyester blend does a fantastic job of regulating heat, wicks moisture, and dries super-fast.

The material has a lovely feeling against the skin and a very nice cut, especially the set-in sleeves which facilitate enhanced movement.

The baselayer can be worn for a few days at a time without it picking up any unpleasant aromas, so this is brilliant for multi-day treks but equally good for running or climbing, anything when you’re working hard.
