Our Verdict

The Flextail Tiny Helio 600z delivers impressive brightness for its 59g weight and has a useful range of modes. I appreciated the mixed beam for night navigation. The dual-button interface is functional once mastered, though I found it fiddly initially, particularly switching between flood and spot settings on the move. Runtime lived up to expectations, with the moonlight mode proving handy in camp. It’s not the most intuitive headlamp I’ve used, but it’s reliable, well-built, and packs a lot into a small package.
