This lightweight pack features a breathable, close-to-body AirScape™ backpanel and continuous-wrap harness and hipbelt that moves with you. Our Verdict

The latest Talon 22 builds on a well-loved design with subtle but meaningful improvements. Weighing just 1094g, it’s light enough for big hill days yet still supportive when fully loaded. The injection-moulded AirScape back panel offers a close fit and excellent ventilation, while the BioStretch harness and hipbelt flex naturally with your movement — ideal for hiking, biking, or scrambling.

I’ve always liked the Stow-on-the-Go trekking pole attachment, which works seamlessly when you need your hands free. The newly updated helmet carry bar is slimmer and now holds climbing helmets securely — not just bike helmets — making it far more versatile for mixed mountain use.

There’s a good mix of storage, including hipbelt pockets, a large stretch front panel, and a hydration sleeve. My only real gripe is with the compression straps running over the side mesh pockets, which can restrict bottle access when fully cinched.

A light, low-profile pack that moves with you and handles a wide range of active days with ease.
