Osprey’s Stratos 44 Rucksack is a durable and comfortable backpacking rucksack with a full feature set including a front zip access to the main compartment.
Osprey says
You take your hiking seriously and like to stretch your day hikes into light overnights more often than not. The Stratos 44 is built for rugged trails, rain or shine, with serious features and a top loading design so you can easily pack up and go. It’s a sustainably designed technical pack with a cloud-like carry, thanks to its highly ventilated AirSpeed suspension system. And even when things turn stormy, your gear is covered with an included raincover.
Our Verdict
Osprey’s Stratos 44 Rucksack is not an ultralight product but it’s a really solid rucksack that is durable with a full feature set and a decent fully adjustable harness with vented back. The hip fins wrap well around the hips and the weight transfer is good, so this is a good solid choice, at 44 litres its a good capacity for backpacking trips where this level of durability is important.
