Child safety is at the forefront of the design and this product has the TÜV GS safety certification to prove it. Deluxe Child Cockpit – A fully framed and padded cockpit surrounds the adjustable double halo harness and child seat for safety. Soft contact surfaces, anatomical fit and ventilated side panels provide comfort.

Built-in Sunshade – Easily stores/deploys for on-the-go UPF 50+ UV protection for little ones.

One-Size-Fits-All – A ventilated tensioned mesh backpanel with up to 6 in./15 cm. of torso adjustability. Poco® Plus includes Fit-on-the-Fly™ hipbelt for a wider fit range.

Airspeed Backpanel – 3D-tensioned mesh comfortably wraps and conforms to the body and provides excellent ventilation. A continuous panel of lightweight mesh extends from the top of the backpanel to the lumbar. The seamless structure contours automatically to the body, providing outstanding fit and unrestricted movement when wearing the carrier.

Suspension –  Full wrap aluminum tubing frame provides lightweight but stable heavy load carry. Collapsible foot bar provides greater maneuverability while the child carrier is on. Locking hinges and rotating side arms allow the frame to fold down for travel and storage.

Our Verdict

Weighing in at just over 3.6kg, the Poco Premium is no featherweight, but what you get in return is a robust, feature-packed carrier designed to keep both parent and child happy on the trail. The adjustable harness and torso length make handovers between adults straightforward, and the mesh back panel does a great job of ventilating under load. The hipbelt takes the edge off heavier carries, and the aluminium frame strikes a good balance between rigidity and mobility, with the bonus of folding neatly for storage or travel.

Safety is baked into the design. The child cockpit is fully framed and well-padded, and the 5-point harness feels secure and intuitive to adjust. Foot stirrups reduce leg dangling on longer walks, and the cockpit materials are soft, breathable, and easy to wipe clean. The built-in sunshade (UPF 50+) deploys quickly and provides decent coverage, while the included raincover adds protection when conditions turn.

Storage is generous, with 36 litres spread across accessible mesh pockets, hipbelt stowage, and a lower gear compartment that easily handles nappies, snacks, and spare layers.
