The backsystem features a Fit-on-the-Fly™ adjustable hipbelt and adjustable torso length for when switching the child carrier backpack from mum to dad. Deluxe Child Cockpit – A fully framed and padded cockpit surrounds the adjustable double halo harness and child seat for safety. Soft contact surfaces, anatomical fit and ventilated side panels provide comfort.

Built-in Sunshade – Easily stores/deploys for on-the-go UPF 50+ UV protection for little ones.

One-Size-Fits-All – A ventilated tensioned mesh backpanel with up to 6 in./15 cm. of torso adjustability. Poco® Plus includes Fit-on-the-Fly™ hipbelt for a wider fit range.

Airspeed Backpanel – 3D-tensioned mesh comfortably wraps and conforms to the body and provides excellent ventilation. A continuous panel of lightweight mesh extends from the top of the backpanel to the lumbar. The seamless structure contours automatically to the body, providing outstanding fit and unrestricted movement when wearing the carrier.

Suspension –  Full wrap aluminum tubing frame provides lightweight but stable heavy load carry. Collapsible foot bar provides greater maneuverability while the child carrier is on. Locking hinges and rotating side arms allow the frame to fold down for travel and storage.

Our Verdict

At just under 3.5 kg, the Poco strikes a strong balance between support, ventilation, and protection for both child and parent. The fully framed cockpit surrounds the little passenger with generous padding, ventilated panels, and a double halo harness system that’s secure yet easy to adjust as your child grows. Leg stirrups help reduce pressure on small limbs during longer walks, and the TÜV GS safety certification offers genuine reassurance. It’s also fitted with a built-in UPF 50+ sunshade and a removable drool pad—simple things that make a difference over hours on the trail.

The adjustable torso length and Fit-on-the-Fly hipbelt make sharing the load between caregivers smooth, and the mesh back panel offers good airflow. Storage is well proportioned: a 14-litre main gear compartment sits under the child seat, with mesh side pockets for quick-grab items and an external hydration sleeve. While the hipbelt lacks zipped pockets, the overall design still feels considered and functional.

With its stable frame, thoughtful safety features, and adjustable fit, the Poco Child Carrier feels purpose-built for trail families who want to move confidently and comfortably with their little ones on board.
