Our Verdict

The Osprey Escapist Top Tube Bag has proved a solid little organiser for my rides, staying stable even over rough ground thanks to its secure attachment points. At 111g, it’s lightweight yet feels robust, with the waterproof fabric and sealed zip giving me confidence in unpredictable weather. I liked the glove-friendly zip pulls and the cable port, making it easy to run power to my lights without exposing things. The structured shape means it’s easy to pack, though I did find space tight for bulkier snacks or tools—it’s best for slim items like bars, gels or a multitool.
