The OMM Kamleika Smock is a well-thought-out piece for anyone focused on lightweight, weather-resistant gear that won’t restrict movement. At just 212g for a medium, it combines full waterproofing and breathability with a stretchy, soft face fabric, giving it a more comfortable feel than most hardshells. I found the stretch fabric particularly useful when scrambling or running—it moves with you like a base layer but with the protection of a proper mountain shell.

Some standout details include the adjustable hood with a wired peak, which offers excellent coverage without impacting visibility, and the extended cuffs with thumb slots, keeping your hands covered and sleeves in place. The watch window is also thoughtful, allowing quick access to navigation tools or fitness tracking without exposing your wrist to the elements. The reflective details add visibility in low-light conditions, enhancing safety.
