Our Verdict

Built for speed and sweat, the updated Rab Trail Tee is a lightweight layer that shines when you move fast and work hard.

Weighing just 99g in a Medium, the 2024/25 version uses two types of Motiv fabric to manage heat and moisture more effectively more open at the back where you tend to sweat, and more protective up front. It’s a thoughtful design tweak that helps during challenging climbs and exposed ridgelines. The slim cut hugs the body without restricting movement, and the raglan sleeves keep it comfortable across the shoulders under a pack.

I found the fit on the tighter side, so it might be worth sizing up if you’re between sizes. The material feels very light, great for breathability, though slightly more delicate. Still, the comfort is excellent, with flat seams and no rubbing, even during sustained effort.
