Silver UV-light protective treatment option available

The silver UV-light protective coating is especially recommended for the protection against sun and heat. It is almost completely resistant against harmful UV-radiation and offers a TÜV certified light protection factor of UPF 50+ (Australia/New Zealand Standard). In addition, the silver-metallic-coating reflects the heat very efficiently so that it is considerably cooler under the umbrellas with silver UPF 50+-coating than under umbrellas with a normal canopy.

Our Verdict

EuroSchirm have taken the umbrella concept and pretty much perfected it. Their range of trekking umbrellas is the best yet, and the Dainty is the smallest and one of the lightest in the family at only 176g.

The aluminium & fibreglass frame and teflon-coated canopy are a great combination for weight and strength, protecting you from rain, UV rays and heat. It’s tiny size allows you to store it in your pocket, in your bag or even clip it to your belt.
