Hyperdry® 750 Fill Power RDS approved duck down offers exceptional lightweight thermal performance and water resistance. This down jacket has been especially engineered with fast paced mountain pursuits in mind and comes with a helmet compatible hood as well as room for your additional winter layers. Our Verdict

The Montane Resolve XT Down Hoodie is a robust winter jacket designed for cold-weather adventures. It balances durability and insulation to withstand rugged mountain conditions.

With 220g of 750 fill power HyperDRY hydrophobic duck down, the Resolve XT offers excellent warmth. A Gore-Tex Windstopper outer fabric ensures reliable windproofing and some water resistance while remaining breathable. The jacket delivers significant warmth at 582g (size M) without feeling overly bulky.

The fully adjustable, helmet-compatible hood with a reinforced peak provides excellent protection, while elasticated cuffs and an adjustable hem seal out the cold. Practicality shines through with multiple pockets, including two handwarmer pockets and an internal zipped pocket for valuables, all thoughtfully designed to remain functional when wearing a harness.

This jacket’s durable 30D materials, thoughtful features, and weather resistance make it a dependable option for mountaineering, hiking, or ski touring. While it may not have the ultimate loft of higher-fill power jackets, it offers reliable performance in harsh, wet, and windy conditions.
