Our Verdict
Weighing in around 1,090g, the Ducan 32 feels solid without being overbuilt. The ventilated back panel provides noticeable airflow through the contact points while still keeping the load stable and close to the body. I’ve found the fit dialled in straight away thanks to the shaped shoulder straps and soft, padded hip belt, which takes the edge off longer climbs with a bit of weight onboard.
Storage is intuitive and trail-friendly. The large front mesh stash pocket is perfect for wet layers or quick-access items, and the dual side stretch pockets hold bottles securely, even when scrambling. There’s a single zipped hip belt pocket and a mesh hip belt pocket, which I found useful for stashing rubbish. I’m always a fan of shoulder strap pockets for water bottles or somewhere convenient to store my phone, and the detachable rain cover is a handy inclusion for changeable days out.
