Ultra light bug shelter-pyramid PYRAOMM DUO FULL MESH for 2 person.

This bug shelter is designed for travelling fast & light. Its light weight is perfectly combined with large internal volume. There are 2 separate zippered entrances in the PyraOmm Duo Full Mesh.

Designed for 2 people, it reliably protects against insects and adds a few degrees to the overall comfort temperature of the sleeping system. The inner area of the shelter is 2,94 sq.m.

PyraOmm Duo Full Mesh is pitched with a trekking pole in the centre or with 2 trekking poles in an A-form for increased inner living space. For setup, you need a minimum of 4 pegs. Stakes and pegs are not included.

Pitching with an ultralight tent PYRAOMM DUO TARP you get an ultralight frameless two-layer shelter.

Seams of the shelter are non-sealed. For sealing the seams, we recommend sealant based on silicone.

Setup:

• Stretch the corners with pegs;
• Put the trekking pole from the inside to the top of the tent vertically, about 130 cm.
• Tight guy lines for good stretch of shelter.

Our Verdict

The Liteway Biggie Mesh 2P is an ultralight bug shelter for two-person excursions, perfect for fast-and-light adventures. At just 401 grams, it’s incredibly lightweight but spacious, offering 2.42 square metres of interior space. When paired with the Pyraomm Duo Tarp, it creates a fully enclosed double-layer shelter, effectively keeping insects out while adding a touch of warmth.

The shelter’s catenary cut is a standout feature, ensuring optimal tension without flapping or sagging. Combined with line locks, this design makes for an impressively taut pitch that’s stable even in breezy conditions. Constructed with NoSeeUm mesh and reinforced with durable materials, it allows for excellent airflow while keeping bugs at bay. The floor edges are raised, further helping protect against ground moisture.

Pitching is simple with trekking poles or by suspending them from trees, though stakes and poles are sold separately. For ultralight hikers prioritising bug protection, ventilation, and minimal weight, the Biggie Mesh 2P is an innovative and versatile choice for summer nights outdoors.

• NOTE. The sharp ends of the trekking poles should always be covered with tips. Or you can put a soft cloth / equipment under the sharp end of the pole. Do not insert the sharp ends of sticks or posts into the shelter fabric. The sharp ends of the trekking poles should always be covered to avoid damaging the Tent.
