Hillwalkers, day hikers and thru-hikers will all love this hybrid boot/trail runner combination. They are lightweight, hardwearing, any terrain walking boots that use Inov-8’s durable Graphene-enhanced G-GRIP.

Our Verdict

Inov-8 make fantastic trail running shoes and hiking boots, so I was very excited when they combined both into this lightweight hybrid.

As soon as you get these on, you can instantly tell how comfortable and well-cushioned they are. They support the ankle but are so light you feel like you have slippers on. Out-of-the-box comfort!

Inov-8’s biggest draw for me is their durability; Graphene infused rubber on the soul of their shoes, G-GRIP seems far more rugged than any rubber used by anyone else on the market. They have deep 4mm lugs that aggressively grip the dirt on any terrain.

They have a well-cushioned midsole that provides a good amount of bounce; these boots propel me forward. The biggest test for me is always how badly my feet hurt after a long section of road walking on a multi-day hike, and these kept me going without being in too much pain. Big fan of these and Inov-8 in general

• Superior traction: 35 multi-directional 4mm deep lugs on each shoe have been meticulously shaped and positioned to improve both propulsion at the front and braking at the rear. Measured spacing between the lugs prevents debris from sticking to the outsole, while water dispersion channels give extra grip on slick surfaces.
