Our Verdict

The SoftFlask Speed 500ml fits neatly into vest or belt pockets thanks to its tapered, pinch-welded base and soft material. Weighing just 47g, it shrinks as you drink to minimise bounce, and the bite valve provides a smooth, drip-free flow. The SpeedFill cap is genuinely useful for quick top-ups, and the wide 42mm opening makes it easy to add powders.
