Our Verdict

Helinox’s Chair Zero is fantastic because its a fully supportive chair that’s only 488grams, that’s even lighter than Helinox’s Ground Chair!  On a long hike a chair that will support your back is a real luxury, and will be worth carrying. It also packs down really small so you can fit it in your pack easily.

If you found that the Helinox Chair One was too low to the ground for you then maybe this isn’t the chair for you, it’s a little lower than the Chair One. If I was buying a chair for base camp use I’d choose one of the models with longer legs.
