Our Verdict

The L.I.M Mid Multi II Hood blends smart fabric choices with a close, active fit. At 285g (Medium), this is a breathable midlayer that manages moisture effectively. The body-mapped construction is genuinely effective: lighter, stretchier panels in high-output zones dry quickly, while the grid-backed fleece offers a touch more insulation across the core. I like that the hood fits neatly under a shell without bunching, and the hand pockets are well-positioned and low-profile. Thumb loops are discreet yet functional, and flatlock seams ensure comfort against bare skin. It’s not a piece for abrasion-heavy days, but it would be good for cool-weather scrambles, fastpacking, or layering under a lightweight shell.
