A light, stylish fleece. Good for all outdoor activities, that will get just as much wear in your everyday life as it will in the hills.

Light, comfortable fleece sweater for all kinds of outdoor activities. Easy to layer under a shell jacket on cool summer evenings or a spring hike. The design is timeless with a half-length zipper at the front and a large kangaroo pocket with zippered side openings. Made from a light, pliant fleece fabric in recycled polyester with a drawcord adjustment at the hem.

Our Verdict

Fjallraven’s Vardag Lite Fleece, is a really nice, comfortable fleece, that’s very lightweight, I was wearing the medium which comes in at 284g. It fits very nicely, is not too constrictive, definitely not an “active fit”, It hangs quite loose, but has a draw cord around the hem that can be used to keep the chill-out.

The large kangaroo pocket, is good for keeping hands warm, and also has a small mesh pocket inside to keep smaller items safe, when I say small, I mean it, they could have been a little more generous with the size of it, to be honest.  

  The polyester used is recycled and the method of dyeing is much more sustainable, which I’m always happy to see.  Can see this getting a lot of use in the outdoors but I think I’ll wear it in my everyday life often too.
