Incredibly comfortable long-sleeved trekking shirt in durable partly recycled polyester with mechanical stretch giving it good freedom of movement. The fabric is also soft, quick drying and wicks away moisture, keeping you warm and happy on the trail. Reinforcements with G-1000 Air Stretch on the elbows, lower sleeves, shoulders and back yoke give this shirt incredible durability ensuring that it will be with you on trekking adventures for many years to come.

Our Verdict

At 363g (medium), this is no ultralight shirt, but it earns its place with a thoughtful mix of recycled polyester and G-1000 Air Stretch reinforcements in high-wear areas. The mechanical stretch in the main fabric makes a noticeable difference when scrambling or reaching, and the reinforcements add confidence when brushing against rock or vegetation. The cut is roomy enough to keep air circulating, and the press-button cuffs and front make it easy to regulate airflow on warmer climbs.

Moisture-wicking is solid, and while the G-1000 panels can take longer to dry, I found the trade-off worthwhile for the extra abrasion resistance. The chest pocket is well positioned and secure, and the overall feel is one of quiet practicality rather than flash.
