Equipped with three points of adjustability for easy on and off, the Infini Hike is the ultimate all-terrain vehicle. Engineered with a deep heel cup for foot-cradling comfort, we’ve topped our dual-density midsole with a spongy Ariaprene® upper and quick-dry straps with speed buckle. Grounded in a Vibram® Megagrip outsole for enhanced grip on slippery surfaces, this adaptable adventure sandal has been designed to be re-soled by an official Vibram® cobbler.

Our Verdict

The Infini Hike is Hoka’s first go at an open-toe trail sandal, and for a debut, it’s impressively capable. The standout feature for me is the Vibram Megagrip sole — grippy on rock, steady on wet ground, and surprisingly stable underfoot even on uneven trails. At 283g per shoe (UK 8), it’s not ultralight, but what you get in return is robust comfort. The dual-density CMEVA midsole has a soft, almost spongy feel without being sloppy, and the MetaRocker geometry helps smooth out each step, whether on the trail or pacing around town.

The fit is generous, which works well with socks, though I had to adjust the three-point setting to keep things dialled in. The Ariaprene upper dries quickly after stream crossings, and knowing they’re designed to be resoled when the tread wears down adds real longevity to the sandal.
