These warm-weather shorts are durable, lightweight and, most importantly, comfortable. As they are Fjallraven, you expect a certain level of quality, and Abisko hike shorts live up to that reputation.

Our Verdict

The Abisko hike shorts are an excellent choice for hikers in the warmer months of the year. They have a close technical fit. The Abisko also has an integrated belt, which sits nicely and keeps the shorts in position. You also have two zipped hand-warming pockets and a pocket on the thigh of the right leg to keep your valuables safe.

If the weather has taken a turn and you no longer need shorts, they pack down inside their own pocket so you can stash them in your rucksack.

Fjallraven’s G100 Air Stretch is a durable 65% polyester, 35% cotton blend that works really well in warm conditions. They dry incredibly quickly if you get caught out in the rain or get splashed fording a river. They also look nice, so you’ll get plenty of use from them on the trail and at home.
