The ultralight Piuma 2 tent is developed for trekkers, bikepackers, backcountry and ultralights trips. The focus of the Piuma tent is to provide a good interior volume without suffering any penalty regarding functionality and weight. The full access to the apsis is enhanced by a zippered small door positioned on the head of the room that allows one to reach the narrowest front apsis part, without opening the room door.

The Ferrino Piuma 2 Tent is an excellent choice for trekkers, bikepackers, and ultralight enthusiasts who prioritise space and minimal weight. Designed with careful attention to detail, it offers a practical solution for solo adventurers seeking a balance between functionality and lightweight design.

Constructed with high-quality materials, the Piuma 2 features 7001 T6 tempered aluminium alloy poles, ensuring a sturdy yet lightweight frame. The total weight of the tent, excluding pegs and bags, is a mere 1253 grams, making it an ideal companion for those who need to travel light without sacrificing comfort or durability.

Ventilation is well thought out, with a mosquito net door and front and rear ventilation sleeves to maintain airflow and reduce condensation. Internal storage pockets and gear loops help keep your essentials organised and within easy reach, enhancing the overall camping experience.

The Ferrino Piuma 2 Tent is built to last. Its nylon ripstop flysheet and floor are both treated with silicone. These features, along with the impressive waterproof ratings (2000 mm and 3000 mm, respectively) and taped seams, ensure the tent’s durability and reliability in various weather conditions.

It’s a good place for two to lie down, but with only 90cm of headroom, it can feel a little cramped, especially with two in; I would primarily use this tent as a solo camper. It’s not somewhere I would wish to be confined to for a prolonged period. There is room to change clothes and even cook if you’re a little hunched over, but it’s not somewhere to “hang out.” If you are looking for something fast and light that won’t take up too much space and is also affordable, this is a fine tent.
