Our Verdict

The Ultra Bladder from OMM is a great piece of kit. With a simple but useful sliding lock top you can fill up faster, add powders easily, get in there to clean it properly and not worry about it leaking later. Lightweight and low profile, thanks to an internal baffle, this is great for runners and lightweight hikers.

The drinking pipe fits snugly into the bladder with a complicated looking, but easy to use button mechanism. The point of it being that it is leakproof so you can add or take out the drinking tube as and when you need to (if you ever need to do this). Push the button in to release or fit the pipe and once in it locks into place.
