The Life Venture Travel Light 16L Packable Backpack is a very lightweight rucksack that packs down incredibly small. Ideal for travelling and day trips when you want to save on weight.

Made from lightweight, durable fabrics the pack has two zipped pockets and one large 16 litre zipped compartment. For easy access or hydration storage the pack has a part stretch side pocket. The adjustable shoulder straps are made from a 3D Air Mesh making them both breathable and comfortable for all day use.

Our Verdict

If you’re after a lightweight bag that packs down incredibly small then this is the one. It only holds around 16 litres though so it’s probably best suited for short day trips or travel use. There is no back padding or support which is what makes the bag so light and flexible. I would just make sure to organise the contents to make sure nothing pointy sticks into your back.

The straps are pretty simple but comfortable enough for lighter loads and the stuff sack is attached so you cannot loose it or forget it. One side of the stuff sack is made from a stretchy fabric so it’s easy to get it back inside (unlike the previous version of this pack).
