Shoulder strap pocket, hip belt pockets and z-pole carry keep essentials in easy reach while stretch pockets and piolet carry provide additional carry solutions. The stow away rain cover can be quickly deployed in the event of a squall.

Our Verdict

The Trail Vista 20 immediately feels well put together, with a clean design that prioritises fit and stability. At around 800g for the S/M size, it’s light enough for quick day hikes but carries a surprising amount thanks to a well-shaped internal frame. 

The ventilated EVA back panel and the soft hipbelt make a noticeable difference to overall comfort, even when carrying a heavier load for a full day out. Storage is neatly organised, with two hipbelt pockets, a shoulder strap pocket for small items, and stretchy side and front pockets that can hold a good amount of extra gear. I appreciated the quick-access pole attachments and the included rain cover, although the front stash pocket does feel a little tight if you’re packing bulkier layers.
