The Black Diamond Satellite 4L is a versatile accessory for Beta Light packs or as a standalone waist pack. It can be attached to Beta Light packs in different ways and has a Z-pole pole-carrying system.

The Satellite 4L by Black Diamond is a versatile and lightweight accessory designed to complement their Beta Light ultralight backpacks or serve as a standalone waist pack. Its versatility is one of its standout features.

This accessory pouch can be attached to the Beta Light packs in multiple ways – on the waist belt, shoulder straps, or the outside mesh pocket, providing quick access to snacks, small essentials, or even a camera.

When I go hiking, I want everything I need within reach, but I also dislike having bulky items in my pockets. The Sattelite Bag provides a convenient solution for me by accommodating everything I need, such as my phone and battery pack. It allows me to charge my phone while hiking and use it simultaneously for navigation, which I find particularly helpful during multi-day excursions.

The innovative Z-pole pole-carrying system ensures easy accessibility to your trekking poles while on the move. This convenient feature is particularly advantageous during ascents and descents, as well as on flat sections when you want to temporarily store your poles without interrupting your stride.

While designed to accompany the Beta Light packs, the Satellite 4L can also function as a capable standalone waist pack. Utilising the Beta Light’s hip pad, it transforms into a “peak bagging machine,” making it an excellent choice for summit pushes or fast-paced adventures where you need to travel light but still carry the necessities.

The Satellite 4L. is made from 100d nylon ripstop material. It is designed to withstand the rigours of outdoor adventures. The ripstop construction provides added durability and resistance against potential snags or tears, ensuring your pack will serve you well for many future adventures.
