Our Verdict

At 219g, it fits snugly over the chair and stays secure without slipping. I like the soft-touch fabric—it feels lovely against the skin and adds enough grip to stop sliding about. The insulation does take the edge off chilly evenings, making it much more pleasant to linger outside as the sun goes down. It doesn’t pack into the original chair bag but compresses well enough to stash separately. It’s not a must on every trip, but when comfort is the goal, it’s a welcome extra.
